April has been writing since Adelson's. In the late 90s and early 2000s she began writing books, poetry and songs. After school her close family members and friends would create and make up dance moves to their favorite radio songs . Being so shy nothing was ever published, until years later when April would work with her Best fried who goes by the rap name of Ambrosia to start a mixtape with friend and music producer Self made Records. Without deciding on a group name they decided to go by their rap names Apreeze & Ambrosia.

They were successful at completing a full mixtape, one day it all went down the drain when all of the equipment they recorded on was stolen out of the Self Made studio. Throughout these years, and still going strong, Apreeze and Ambrosia re-recorded the mixtap, self titled Apreeze & Ambrosia, it all took a turn for the worse when the computer crashed. At this time, they were low for funds and were regular 9-5 young girls trying to make a way out of the lifestyle they were born into. Meaning they were not rich. They were not able to recoup the work they had  done on the mixtape or the mixtape itself. Fast forward years later where times are different, and in this digital world we live in today, April decided to give it another shot.

Now everything is saved on a cloud a drive or some type of recoverable file in case of instances of a computer crashing.
